Enjoy the crunchy texture of green beans in Green Bean Gomaae, a traditional Japanese side dish. The flavors of sesame seeds and soy sauce complement each other, creating a delicious taste.
1 ½Tbspground white sesame seeds(When grinding raw or toasted sesame seeds, please refer to the instructions above.)

Instructions
Snap off the ends of the green beans and remove the strings that run along the seam of each bean.
Mix ground sesame seeds, sugar, and soy sauce in a bowl.
Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Once the water comes to a boil, add salt (approximately 1% of the water's volume, not included in the recipe). Then, add the green beans and boil them for 2 minutes.
Remove the green beans from the pot and cool them under running water. Pat them thoroughly with a paper towel.
Cut the green beans into 3 equal pieces.
Place the green beans in the bowl and toss them with the sesame sauce.
Notes
You can store it in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
