Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 tsp matcha powder (about 0.07 oz/2 g)
  • Tbsp granulated sugar (about 0.35 oz/10 g; other types of sugar that dissolve easily in water can be substituted.)
  • 1 Tbsp hot water
  • cup cold water (The total amount of hot and cold water should be about ⅔ cup [160 ml] per serving.)

Instructions
 

  • Add matcha powder, sugar, and hot water to a cup, and mix well until smooth. (If you don’t mind some small clumps, you can use cold water instead of hot water.)

  • Add cold water and stir gently. You can add ice cubes if desired.

Notes

  • Consume it on the same day, as it contains sugar and doesn’t keep well.
